Stark was born in north central zone of East Meridia. Growing up he relied on the support of Bencer, the only resemblance of a family he has ever had. His mother passed away during child birth and his father was murdered by a Human named Carmine Huggett a mere ten day before the birth of Stark. Stark’s father was merely collateral damage in a bar scuffle amongst two local bands of thieves. Carmine was the leader of the Guild of Guile. Bencer being a good friend of Stark’s father took him in as one of his own after his mothers passing.
Bencer was the towns finest Weapons Master. Many folk came far and wide to train under the teachings of Bencer’s blade. As stark grew older he wondered what has become of his mother (assuming Bencer being his father). Bencer was honest with Stark, he explained the situation in its entirety. Stark was emotionally devastated. The turn of events sparked a blood lust in Stark that could not be quenched until he obtained the head of his newly proclaimed enemy Carmine Huggett.
Bencer understood his thirst for vengence and began training Stark at the age of 14 years old. Stark showed uncanny coordination with a blade. He was to be trained with a standard longsword and shield. Stark oddly enough could not seem to balance himself properly with a shield. Bencer then gave young Stark a second blade. His movements and precision was staggering. He was to become a duel wielded swordsman from the Academy of Bencer.
As Stark grew older he become more and more interested in ranged battle tactics and yearned to perfect his proficiency with a long bow. His marksmanship was tested many of times with flawless results.
At the age of 21 he was ready to seek out and eliminate the leader of the Guild of Guile, Carmine Huggett. When the time came to assassinate the foul crime lord, it was too late, for that night he was killed in a failed raid upon a Human town to the west. All was lost for Stark, with nothing left to focus is rage on he was simply lost.
Bencer coached Stark for many years, but he had one last notion of guidance for the only resemblance he had to a son. “Go my boy, you have skills that are meant to be battle tested. You have lost your incentive, but you have not lost your vigor, determination or wholesomeness. You must must go prove to yourself that you can make a difference in this world. If not for yourself do it for those that lack the capabilities that you were born to possess”. He went on to explain how a life as a contractual bounty hunter would suit his role. He also knew of an elven teacher knowledgeable in arts of Nature, Stealth and Assassination. Bencer guided him east to his home where he was welcomed and trained for 4 years in survival and stealth tactics.
It now was his time to prove to himself that he has what it takes to make a difference one way or another in the world he has yet explored. The elf guided him to several contracts that were of ease and proved to be perfect practice.
His latest requires a bit of a travel, leading him to the land of Altamira. He was told that when he made his journey across the seas he will be notified of his assignment by a stranger. He trusted the elf, and has come to befriend him in time. So he gathered his all the adventurous momentum he had and made his way north. Very vague was his mission, yet Stark was excited at what such a mystery could bring…
